LISTENING SESSIONS are staffed by trained professionals who offer a safe, caring and compassionate setting for dealing with issues that are important to you. We offer in-person or video sessions with coaches, clergy, counselors, and/or therapists. We believe that all persons have a right to a life that is healthy, happy and whole. We are LGBTQ, kink-alt friendly.
FEES & SCHEDULING
Fees are set on a sliding scale based on income, from $25 – $250 per session. Insurance may be accepted depending on your provider. Schedules are made by appointment.
We listen to people about what is important to them: Family, Self Esteem, Stress, Depression, Body Image, Life Changes, Relationships, PTSD, Religious Abuse, Sexual Pleasure, Sexual Dysfunction, Kink, Polyamory, Faith Questions, Grief & Loss, Parenting, Work, and more.
What you can expect in your first session: A Listening Place session offers a safe place to talk with a caring, compassion professional who values you as a human being. A conversation about what you want to talk about, with an opportunity for you to set the agenda, ask questions, and clarify the reason(s) you came to the Listening Place. Your first visit typically will be in our office or at a public place, such as Panera Bread; other visits can be via video. Sessions generally last about an hour. Our Listeners are trained professionals, well-educated, licensed, and/or certified with varying backgrounds, experiences and perspectives. Payments, in cash, are requested at the beginning of the first session; see the fee structure above.
